Michaela Englert
studied philosophy and cultural reflection as well as art education with a specialisation in exhibiting & mediating. After her studies, she designed the education programme at the Haus für elektronische Künste and worked in the education department of the Berlinische Galerie. In recent years, she has worked as an art educator at the Berlinische Galerie, the Gropius Bau, the Deutsche Bank Kunsthalle and the Bauhaus Archive, where she conducted guided tours and workshops with school classes. With Ephra, she has the opportunity to mobilise her extensive expertise, for example as a specialist for inclusion.
Ilka Lorenzen
studied European Ethnology, Cultural Studies and Romance Studies. As a radio journalist and freelance writer for children's and music programs on Deutschlandfunk Kultur, she has led many workshops on art topics, e.g. with the „Kakadu-Kinderkunstexperten“. She loves to listen to children and especially to pick up the quiet nuances. She does this, among other things, with Ephra on the road. To the website
Marion Pia Bott
Is an author, actress for film, TV and theatre and dream coach. With Blauhauch she has founded an international all-women theatre and circus ensemble that performs stage plays inspired by the lucid dreams of the performers. With our Ephra children, she embarks on dream journeys into the body and mind, discovering colours, finding shapes and visualising desires. To the website

Michael Bennett
Portraits, food, stories - Michael Bennett photographs everything with distinct professionalism and sensitivity. As an expert at Ephra on the Road, he shows the children how to use a camera, what makes a good photo and how to document the studios well. To the website
Fikri Anıl Altıntaş
As a freelance writer, he publishes in the taz, in Freitag and at pinkstinks.de. He engages with (toxic) images of masculinity, orientalism and post-migrant issues. As part of the Masculinities project, he conducted workshops with students at the Campus Rütli school and gave us an insight into his experiences and life.

Linus Giese
Linus Giese's book "I am Linus" was published in summer 2020. In it, he describes his coming out as a trans man. Linus visited the students of Beethoven Gymnasium with us as part of the Masculinities project and gave input from his experiences. To the website

Seçil Honeywill
Seçil Honeywill works as a theatre translator, author, director and producer. In the project It’s about time, she developed an improvisation theatre on the topic of headscarves in Turkish with the children.
Katrin Greiling
Katrin is an internationally recognised furniture designer and interior architect. With her office, founded in Stockholm in 2005, she develops themes from different perspectives in the field of space, object and image. She is also an excellent photographer. To the website

Anne Lehmann
works with illustration and develops individual graphic recording formats for conferences, seminars and workshops. In the Masculinities project, she recorded our discussions and thus summarised the results of the workshops visually for the poster available for free in the exhibition. To the website

Cecilia Müller-Stahl
is an actress. She has appeared in productions such as Tatort (ARD), Soko-Stuttgart (ZDF), Lotta (ARD) and in the ARD production "Keine Ehe ohne Pause". She has already assisted Ephra as an expert on the kids tours at art berlin and on It’s about time. More information

Ines Berwing
is a screenwriter and lyricist. Often a child's perspective is what gives her access to stories, language and images in the first place. She accompanied some of Ephra's studio visits with her writing and flew with the children over art berlin. Her texts can be found in our blog.
Minh An Szabó de Bucs
is a freelance art journalist and author. She writes about Asian contemporary art and the Chinese art market for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, the Süddeutsche Zeitung and Monopol. When time permits, she gives part-time art tours and workshops for school classes and families.
Hazem Nassreddine
The musician Hazem Nassreddine plays the Kanun and is a member of the Berlin band Fattouch. In the City of Palaces workshop, he showed us the world of instruments and inspired the children with his music.
Kirsten Burger
is a theater director, theater educator, filmmaker, performer/actress, and writer. Her work is characterized by its interdisciplinary and cross-genre approach. At Ephra, she has facilitated workshops and contributed her ideas and expertise.
Naemi Schmidt-Lauber
Naemi is an actress, trained storyteller and writer. She has told stories of kings in the City of Palaces project and participated in Imaginary Journeys and Singing Instruments.
Ada Labahn
studied acting and acted in some theater and film productions. She also completed various therapeutic trainings and offers holistic mentoring for self-healing. With Ephra she co-created the performative children's flights at art berlin. To the website
Sven Tjaben
is an actor, musician and trained storyteller. Together with Naemi Schmidt-Lauber, he told stories about kings in the City of Palaces project and took the children on a journey to Russia and Italy.
Vera Buhs
born in Berlin, studied dance and performance at the School of Visual Theater in Jerusalem and completed her Master's degree in Sound Studies at the Berlin University of the Arts. Her focus is on the connection between music and dance. At Kids Tours at art berlin she sewed wing costumes for us to fly. More information
Monika Bihlmaier
is a sociologist by training. The development of organizations, teams, programs and strategies has always been a heart part of her work and so Monika Ephra supports in strategic alignment and the development of structural responses to Ephra's vision and goals.
Gaelle Georges
After finishing her dance training in Paris Gaelle worked as a freelance dancer in France and Berlin for 17 years. In addition to her dance career, Gaelle is now focusing on bodywork and movement as well. She also gives yoga classes in Berlin. During the project Ephra x YOYI! Care, Repair, Heal, Gaelle worked together with the children on themes like silence, worries, sensations and feeling one's own body in a room. More information
Mathias Völzke
works as a photographer in Berlin and mainly documents exhibitions, performances, openings and events in his pictures. For his photographs, he only uses natural light and little equipment to develop an individual visual language. In the project Ephra on the road, Mathias explains to the children the basics of photography and practices with them on the camera for the photo assignments in the studios. To the website
